The jewelry pictures are all
here now.

I say "Om", you say "Aum", let's call the whole thing off!
Welcome to the Om Jewelry/Ray's Custom Made Silver Jewelry website. Have a look around. There are links to all sorts of things of interest here and I'm sure you'll find something you like!
My goal is to make beautiful silver and gold jewelry. I enjoy creating things that I like. I hope you like these things as well, but I mainly make jewelry for my own enjoyment and pleasure and to keep my hands from going crazy. I realize that I'm supposed to try to sell jewelry to the public, but that's not my main goal. I feel I have a need to create. If you like what I do for my pleasure I hope you'll allow me to do it for yours as well.
I've been in the Jewelry business for 30 years and have
a reputation for creating beautiful jewelry that is unique and special.
I also have a special talent to repair broken jewelry and return it to a new
condition.
I began creating silver jewelry back in 1978 at a little store in
Coconut
Grove, Florida called
Om Jewelry ॐ (Motto: "Om is where the art is") which was owned by a fantastic artist named
Wayne Brehm.
I worked with Wayne and
Matt Willig at Om Jewelry until 1995 when my wife and I
escaped from South
Florida and came to live in beautiful
East Tennessee. While I was there I saw Wayne
transform Om Jewelry from a little hippy-owned jewelry shop to a main-stream
establishment. He kept the small-town and friendly atmosphere even while
Coconut Grove (a part of Miami) was growing into a hot-spot for the rich and
famous.
Many people passed through Om's door and left a little part of themselves behind (a finger here, a toe there.) We all miss Wayne and his strange sense of humor very much and hope to meet him on the other side (and collect our fingers and toes which we hope he kept.)
Here's another Coconut Grove/Wayne Brehm link.
A
very nice lady sent me some
pictures of Wayne
at various Mango Strut parades!
(I sure hope I can get some more!! Watch this space for some Mango Strut Videos
which I'll upload eventually.)
You may contact me with your jewelry designs by calling any of the numbers below, or writing to my P.O. Box., or by emailing me. If you decide to call, please remember that I'm in the Eastern Time Zone and I sleep at night.
Questions?
I'm adding a new feature to this site. It is a list of
links to fellow artists whom I know personally.
I know many more then those
listed here, but these are the only ones with websites.

This is the
link to John Ray's
Wood fired Bizen style Japanese pottery website.
John is an exceptional artisan and I hope you'll buy some of his stuff!

Matt Willig is one of the best jewelers on the planet!
This is a link to a site that features him. I
have it on good authority that he's in the process of building a bonafide
website of his very own.
MWDesignsJewelry is coming soon to a web browser near
you.

Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, J.W. Nave
Photography specializes in portraits, wedding and commercial photography.
Creating successful interpretive photographs requires an understanding of the
relationship between the subject and the design of the photograph.
Go have a look at his site. J.W. is a personal from of mine and I know him to be an honest and honorable man, not to mention an exceptional photographer and a true artist.
