The customer wanted a special pin made for his & his wife's 25th (Silver) Anniversary.
He came to me with two drawings and a piece he'd fashioned out of clay.
(He called it an ear, but really didn't want it to look like one!)
He came back again with another drawing cut out from a piece of paper.

I spoke with him and he turned out to have a degree in art.
I knew this would be a special piece and so invited the customer to sit with me and guide me though the design of his piece.
After two days this is what we came up with.

The result is his art through my hands.

The piece is Sterling Silver and about 3" long.
It, like most of my other pieces, is wrought rather than cast.
